Dear WISE Members, 
 
A reminder to register today (last day!) for the WISE event on Thu, Jan 
18 at the Canadian Museum of Nature with Carol Stephenson, President and 
CEO of Lucent Technologies Canada as the guest speaker. To find out more

General admission to the event is $20. Thanks to sponsorship by Gowlings, 
students can attend the event for only $15. Please specify in your email 
when registering if you are a student, and bring a valid student ID.  
 
 
This will be an excellent networking opportunity for WISE members with 
the other women's organizations in Ottawa who have jointly helped organize 
this event: Wired Woman Society, DigitalEve and Canadian Women in Communications. 
So far we have more than 150 people registered to attend. Hope to see

During this special evening, Carol Stephenson 
shares her views on the many gifts that women 
bring to our increasingly networked world. Carol 
believes that women have the power and the 
responsibility to shape the information age. She 
provides her advice on how we can capitalize on 
our uniquely female strengths to achieve this 
great promise.
