Gender Equity: Past, Present and Future with Elizabeth Millar
Elizabeth
Millar is best known for her 20-year effort in negotiating the
Public
Service of Canada’s \$3.5 billion pay equity settlement. Prior to the
advent
of pay equity, Elizabeth addressed discrimination in job-evaluation
issues
and the under-valuation of women’s work.

Confines of Engineering
(SPAV =
Student Professional Awareness Venture)
The
IEEE student branch at Carleton University has organized a professional
and
career development conference consisting of 5 world class speakers, 5
workshops
and 1 panel discussion. All events of
this conference are highly
energetic
and interactive in a learning environment where participants will
walk
away with networking, entrepreneurship, teamwork and management, and
career
building skills, to only name a few.
