Membership Information

WISE Ottawa is a network of individuals in the area working together to promote and support women in science, engineering and related careers, and to act as an information resource to students, educators, employers and government.

Our target members are:

• professionals working in science and engineering
• students studying science and engineering at college or university
• people interested in issues related to women in non-traditional fields
• teachers or career counsellors interested in learning more about non-traditional careers for women
• living or working in the National Capital Region

Member benefits include:

• quarterly email newsletters announcing upcoming WISE events and issues of interest to our members
• subsidized fees for attending WISE dinner events
• network with a group of successful women in science and engineering
• receive emails of job postings from our corporate sponsors
• participate in industry tours organized by WISE at a reduced cost
• attend WISE meetings on current event topics and impressive guest speakers

If you wish to receive our newsletters and to participate at our events you must become a member. The annual membership fees are $10 for students and $25 for regular members.
